Advanced Pattern Recognition
TDX's proprietary pattern recognition logic allows users to detect the ever-changing patterns employed in today's fast markets. TDX sifts through the "noise" to uncover potentially manipulative sub-second trading patterns. Hundreds and sometimes thousands of well orchestrated bids and asks in one second, portray activity that can only be generated or detected by a computer. The system captures that behavior and the charts display it, giving you a window into the secret but purposeful world of high-frequency trading.
Burst Detection
Our quote burst detection techniques enable us to capture the manipulators in action. Hundreds of orders are submitted in a few milliseconds with the apparent intent to push prices in a desired direction. TDX measures the effect of this activity on the NBBO and quantifies the impact of suspicious activity on users' orders.
We believe it is critical to have a live view into one's realm of supervision, as it will act as a deterrent against fraudulent activity. Organizations without a real-time surveillance system jeopardize their competitive position in the marketplace by exposing themselves to manipulation and systems error.

Cristian Zarcu is the President and COO of TradeDynamiX LLC. Cristian founded the company to help regulators and financial market participants achieve a consistent and transparent approach to trading risk, via cutting-edge technology.
Before starting TradeDynamiX, he spent two decades in Electronic and Algorithmic Trading in numerous leading roles, most recently as Head of Lazard's Analytic Trading Solutions, where he was recruited by CEO and charged with modernizing Lazard’s trading systems and technology infrastructure, to help achieve ambitious growth targets for the company. He also led and directed all new product strategies, product positioning and messaging, driving the commercial success of the franchise.
Previously, Cristian founded Wachovia's Automated Trading Solutions group and built it into a full-fledged electronic trading platform, including Algorithmic, Program Trading, DMA and Pre/Post Trade Analytics. There he delivered the leadership and vision necessary to ensure that the group had the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the business and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.
Prior to joining Wachovia, he was the Head of Program/Algorithmic Trading at Banc of America Securities. During his tenure at B of A, he was responsible for managing and enhancing the firm's electronic trading offering. Cristian started his Wall Street career on the Program Trading desk at Salomon Brothers, where he covered large institutional accounts and published Index research. He studied Blockchain Technologies at MIT's Sloan School of Management, Artificial Intelligence at the University of Helsinki, and he has a B.S. in Finance, a B.S. in Economics and a Minor in International Business from the University of Idaho, which he attended on a full Track & Field scholarship. He also studied Engineering at the University of Bucharest, Romania.
